Amanda Minor is the Administrator at the Douglas County Health Department. She has a Master's in Public Health (MPH), and is a Licensed Environmental Health Practitioner (LEHP). She attended Indiana State University for her undergrad in Biology and Environmental Health and received her graduate degree from University of Illinois in Chicago. She has been the Administrator for the Douglas County Health Department since May 2004. Her husband, Dave, and her three kids Bo, Brock, and Becca live in Paris. The entire family enjoys baseball and softball all year round. She appreciates the small town atmosphere of Douglas County. Her father is a farmer and her mother was a nurse and now enjoys their grandchildren. She attributes her love for the environment and her willingness to contribute to the wellness of the community from her parents. She welcomes everyone to visit the health department and is sure that everyone will find a service that will fit their needs.
